Occupational Health & Drug Screening in Livonia

Pre-employment physicals, drug screens, and work injury care, fast, documented, and open 7 days so your hiring and operations don't stall.

What occupational health services do you offer?

The services that keep a workforce hired, cleared, and healthy:

  • Pre-employment and employment physicals, fitness-for-duty exams matched to the job’s actual demands
  • Drug and alcohol screening, pre-employment, random-program, and post-incident
  • Return-to-work exams, the documented clearance after an illness or injury
  • OSHA-related services, the exams and testing your compliance program requires
  • Work injury treatment under Michigan workers’ compensation
  • Vaccinations, TB testing, and boosters required for specific roles

Why route employees to an urgent care?

Turnaround. A new hire waiting a week for a physical-and-screen appointment is a week of unfilled shift. The clinic runs on walk-ins, 7 days a week: candidates come in when told, results and signed paperwork move quickly, and nobody’s start date slips because of a scheduling queue. Weekend availability also matters for post-incident screens, which can’t wait for Monday.

How does drug screening work?

The candidate or employee arrives with ID and whatever chain-of-custody paperwork your program uses. Collection is observed to protocol, documentation is handled properly, and results route to the employer’s designated contact. If your program has specific panel or protocol requirements, call the clinic and we’ll confirm the details before you send anyone over.

Can you handle our work injuries too?

Yes, that’s often the most valuable half of the relationship. Michigan employers direct where injured employees are treated for the first 28 days, and naming a nearby clinic that’s open every day means injuries get seen the same day they happen instead of festering over a weekend. Details on the workers’ compensation page.

How does my company get set up?

Call the clinic and ask for occupational health. It’s sorted with a short conversation: your requirements, your paperwork, your billing arrangement, done. No contracts required to simply start sending people in.

Questions

Before you come in for occupational health

The things people ask most often. There are more on the FAQ page.

Do you treat work injuries?

Yes. Serenity handles workers' compensation injuries and occupational health services for employers. Michigan gives you the right to choose your own treating provider 28 days after the injury is reported, which matters if your employer sent you somewhere you would rather not go back to.

Do you do physicals?

Yes: school, sports, camp, work, and pre-employment physicals, all on a walk-in basis. Bring the form your school, team, or employer needs signed and you will leave with it completed the same day. Serenity does not offer DOT physicals.

What insurance do you accept?

Serenity accepts 21+ plans, including Medicaid plans, Medicare plans, and the major commercial carriers: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, HAP, Humana, Meridian, Molina, Priority Health, and United Healthcare among them. The full list is published on the insurance page. Plans change, so if yours is not listed, call (248) 482-8809 and ask rather than assuming.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Serenity is a walk-in clinic: come in, give the front desk your name, and you will be seen. There is no appointment to make and no referral to chase. Two kinds of visit are the exception and do want a booking, because time is set aside for them: IV drips and weight-loss consultations.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The clinic is open seven days a week, weekends included. IV drips are the exception: they are booked rather than walked in, and the times on offer change day to day, so the booking page is the only place that shows them.
