Frequently asked questions about urgent care in Livonia

Can I walk in for same-day urgent care?

Yes, walk-ins are the whole model. No appointment, no referral: come in at 19920 Farmington Rd and you'll be seen the same day. We're open 7 days a week (Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Sat–Sun 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

What can urgent care treat?

Non-life-threatening illness and injury: colds, flu, strep, ear and sinus infections, UTIs, stomach bugs, sprains, strains, suspected minor fractures, cuts that need stitches, and more, with X-rays and lab testing done on site during the same visit.

Should I go to urgent care or the emergency room?

Call 911 or go to the ER for chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, major trauma, or anything that feels life-threatening. For everything below that line, urgent care is faster, calmer, and a fraction of the cost.

Can I get a school or sports physical?

Yes. School, sports, work, and camp physicals are all walk-in visits. Bring the form your school, team, or employer needs signed, and you'll leave with it completed the same day.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept Medicaid plans, Medicare plans, and major commercial carriers (21+ plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, HAP, Humana, Meridian, Molina, Priority Health, and United Healthcare). Bring your card and a photo ID.

Do you do X-rays and lab tests on site?

Yes. Digital X-ray and lab testing (rapid strep, flu, and COVID-19 tests, urinalysis, blood work) happen in the building, during your visit, with no referral to an imaging center and no second trip.
